The Enochian Calendar

Part 1
At Qumran in 1947, there were apocalyptic scrolls found, and among them the Books of Jubilees and the Second Mikdash writings of Enoch I which discuss the calendar and dating system by which these people lived. Scholars had been attentive of the Apocryphal Calendar before this find, but interest was renewed with the discovery of these scrolls by which the Qumran sect lived. It is based on 364 days per year. The year is divided into four periods (to correspond to the four seasons of the year), of 13 weeks or 91 days in each period. There are 12 months in each year or a total of 52 weeks. By using this exact measure and beginning the year on the Wednesday just after the vernal equinox, the holy days fall exactly on the same day, in the same month, every year.

This calendar warrants extensive study, as there are now numerous proofs it was the calendar used by Abraham, King Solomon, King David, and High Priest Zadok in the First Holy Mikdash. A different calendar was used in the Second Commonwealth, but that Mikdash had no Presence, no Ark of the Covenant, and no means for its apostate priesthood to communicate directly with Hashem. In fact, it is recorded that 300 high priests during the second Mikdash period, died when they went into the Holy of Holies on Yom Kippur. Something, perhaps many things, were wrong with the Second Mikdash.

THE SADDUCEES
The name Sadducee is derived from that of Zadok, the high priest of the Jerusalem Mikdash in the time of Solomon. But what proof have we that these Zaddikim were, in fact the rightful priesthood, expelled from the Mikdash by an apostate sect? What proof have they offered to us that their laws and customs bear the mark of authenticity?

Proof of the Zaddikim's authenticity lies in the evidence that they were the keepers of the true implements of the Mikdash from the First Temple (Mikdash). Since the time of King Solomon, virtually without interruption up until the time of the Hasmonean Revolt, the Zadokite Priests had been in control of the Jerusalem Mikdash. They trace their ancestry back to the high priest Zadok, who officiated in King Solomon's Mikdash. It was members of this group who were to become known as Sadducees to the Pharisees. In other words, the Sadducees were the priestly aristocracy, The prophet Ezekiel (Ezek. 44:9-16) assigned the priestly duties exclusively to this family.

This means that the Dynasty of Zadok, the First High Priest in the Mikdash, will be restored. These items would include such items as the Mikdash incense, the anointing oil of the priesthood, and perhaps the Ark of the Covenant.Read More...

Hebrew Word Study - Faith

"Feminine of H529; literally firmness; figuratively security; moral fidelity: - faith (-ful, -ly, -ness, [man]), set office, stability, steady, truly, truth, verily."

The Hebrew word translated as faith is אמון , and is pronounced Emunah.

To understand the meaning we have to look at the root word. The Hebrew root aman means firm, something that is supported or secure. The word emunah is derived from the root word aman, meaning firm. When the Hebrew word emunah is translated as faith, there is a misconception of its meaning. Faith is usually thought to mean "knowing", but in Hebrew emunah is a firm action. To have faith in the Sovereign is not knowing that He exists or knowing that He will act. It means rather that the one with emunah will act with firmness toward the Sovereign's will. This means he wants the Sovereign's will because he knows the Sovereign's will is life-ward and leads him on the correct path.

As can be readily seen, the "literal" root meaning of the word "faith" in Hebrew is "firmness." Read more....

Mat 5:6 "How blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness! for they will be filled.

Mat 5:10 "How blessed are those who are persecuted because they pursue righteousness! for the Kingdom of Heaven is theirs.

Let us realize that the "New Testament" was not yet written at the time that the Messiah and his disciples walked; therefore, the Law/Torah was all that they had to live by.

Hillary Clinton's expression, right hand clasped over her mouth in astonishment, is largely responsible for making the above photo iconic--and, to at least one newspaper, sexually suggestive.

In the photo, President Obama and his national security team are huddled around a conference table in the White House Situation Room, watching CIA director Leon Panetta narrate last Sunday's raid on Osama bin Laden's compound. The mood is clearly tense.

When Women's Wear Daily consulted a coterie of photo editors and designers about why the image is "destined to be one for the history books," Clinton was foremost in their responses.

"The Hillary Clinton expression is the one that holds the photograph fully," Time's photo director told the magazine. "You can see 10 years of tension and heartache and anger in Hillary's face," Conde Nast's Scott Dadich agreed.

Turns out she was probably just coughing during that crucial moment captured by White House photographer Pete Souza. But nevertheless, the image still proved a bit too racy for at least one of the many newspapers that printed it.

The bible, on many occasions, says that man was given "dominion" over the animals. People have twisted this to mean that they can do anything they wish to animals. What is meant by "dominion" is the ability to impose our will. We do indeed rule over all animals, as we are the most powerful species on the planet. This however, does not mean it is okay to abuse this power, through animal abuse, and other wicked acts. The Sovereign, without a doubt, wants us to show mercy for animals.

Animal Sacrifices

We have just discussed the concept of The Sovereign having mercy on animals and not wanting us to abuse them. The idea of animal rights being expressed in the bible comes under fire from those who point to instances of animal sacrifice. I admit the many scriptures about animal sacrifice in the bible have troubled me in the past. How can The Merciful One command us to sacrifice animals? The truth of the matter is, we are NOT supposed to sacrifice animals. The Sovereign does not command us to do this.

THE EIGHTH CENTURY B.C. INAUGURATED AN ERA

of spiritual and moral evolution in Judaism that struggles to continue in our own day. It was a giant leap in consciousness that seemed to emerge, full-blown, in the teachings of the Latter Prophets.

The teachings of those men affirmed the primary importance of social justice, rejected ceremonial and sacrificial religion, and articulated a change from henotheism to monotheism. They also taught that homo sapiens is not the end-all or be-all of Elohim’s creation—that, in fact, the animal kingdom is an integral part of the Kingdom to come. It would be a peaceable kingdom where “they shall not hurt or destroy in all my holy mountain: for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the Sovereign.” (Isa. 11:9)

Although this change in consciousness regarding animals was first articulated in the Hebrew Scriptures (or Old Testament), students of religion have traditionally credited India with the concept. They point to the teachings of Buddha and Mahavira, both of whom denounced the sacrifice of animals in the sixth century B.C. The Hinduism of their day required the slaughter of sacrificial animals; it was an integral part of that religion.

As is usual in a sacrificial cult, the priests wielded great power. The power of the Brahmin priests rested on the teaching that only they could offer the kind of sacrifices that were “the atonement for everything . . . the sacrifice that redeems all sin.”

Prayer for Counting the Omer

Take some time each evening after sundown to say this brief traditional prayer and count the omer. Be sure to include the entire family. Make sheaf cutouts for the children to glue to the calendar. Have parents read through Psalms 119, paying special attention to the passages concerning the value of Torah.

The First Agreement!

Bayith HaTorah believes that our Creator intended for His creation to live in Shalom and harmony in this earth and to occupy the office of stewardship over His creation. Today, it is evident that we have failed miserably at this task. Instead of watching over the animals that have the same breath of life that mortals received, we have taken to "Eating them." This is not what the Eternal intended.

Ecc 3:17-19 I said in my heart: 'The righteous and the wicked God will judge; for there is a time there for every purpose and for every work.' (18) I said in my heart: 'It is because of the sons of men, that God may sift them, and that they may see that they themselves are but as beasts.' (19) For that which befalleth the sons of men befalleth beasts; even one thing befalleth them; as the one dieth, so dieth the other; yea, they have all one breath; so that man hath no pre-eminence above a beast; for all is vanity.

Even after coming to the point of eating "Kosher" we are yet breaking the first agreement that the Eternal made with us. Take a look at this video and consider when you have to answer to the Creator for the way your treated His creation.

He had no more such happy nights as he had at Beth-el, no more such visions of the Almighty. That was intended for a feast. Then Jacob lifted up his feet; so the margin reads it.

"What Feast"? The Feast of Shavuot!

People of the east - The inhabitants of Mesopotamia and the whole country beyond the Euphrates are called קדם kedem, or easterns, in the sacred writings. The children of the East are the descendants of Abraham thru Keturah.

Gen 25:1 And Abraham took another wife, and her name was Keturah.

Gen 25:5 And Abraham gave all that he had unto Isaac.

Gen 25:6 But unto the sons of the concubines, that Abraham had, Abraham gave gifts; and he sent them away from Isaac his son, while he yet lived, eastward, unto the east country.

While the chief part of the inheritance went to Isaac; the other sons (Ishmael included) migrated to “the East country,” that is, Arabia.

They have Broken the Everlasting Covenant

So, what exactly is; “the everlasting covenant”? That is one of those questions which I have had in the back of my mind for a long time. For us to determine what has been broken, we have to understand what a “covenant” is. This word is not used out side of a religious content very often. According to the definition of one internet dictionary, Wikipedia says; a covenant is a solemn agreement to engage in or refrain from a specified action. It is commonly found in religious contexts, where it refers to sacred agreements between the Almighty Creator and human beings. According to Webster’s New World Dictionary; the word “covenant” is an agreement. The first of six definitions is; a binding and solemn agreement to do or keep from doing a specified thing. Definitions five and six add to the specifics of a covenant. Number five says; Law a) a formal, sealed contract, b) a clause of such a contract, c) a suit for damages for violation of such a contract. Definition number six is; Theol, the promise made by the Almighty Creator to mankind, as recorded in the Scriptures.

Vegetarian NO MEAT Pesach

The Bayith HaTorah mishpochah celebrated a "NO MEAT" Pesach this year and it was wonderful. Why? Because we have come to understand that the Most High NEVER commanded us to eat "FLESH". As a matter of fact, we have begun to study the Torah in a new and fresh way. In our discovery of these and other new truths, our Torah observant lifestyles have completely changed for the Better. Let me explain...

We have all learned that Moshe wrote the Torah and that it was dictated to him by the Eternal. However, if we consider the stories in scriptures that are told two separate times, sometimes with different details, and the issue of perceived contradictions found throughout the Torah, we will come to see that we have inherited LIES! (Jer. 16:19)

(Jer 8:8) “How do you say, ‘We are wise, and the Torah of AHEYEH is with us’? But look, the false pen of the scribe has worked falsehood.

It is this false pen of the scribes that has given us the ordinance of the "eating of flesh" for Pesach. Rabbi Kook believed that the high moral level involved in the vegetarianism of the generations before Noah, is a virtue of such great value that it cannot be lost forever. In the future ideal state, just as at the initial period, people and animals will not eat flesh. No one shall hurt or destroy another living creature. People's lives will no longer be supported at the expense of the lives of animals. We now know that the Perfect Will of the Eternal is that we live with our brother, the animals, as was in Gan Eden. It is because of this understanding that the Bayith HaTorah mishpochah partook of a Pesach celebration that was wholesome, and did not include the killing of an innocent animal to feed our lust for Flesh.
